About Mini Athletics South East London
Welcome to Mini Athletics South East London! Our inspiring team is headed up by me, Sam McDermott, a local mum of two boys. When I discovered Mini Athletics for my energetic eldest son, the benefits to joining sessions were immediate. Not just physically, I also saw his confidence grow week after week, as he learnt to make friends and socialise. He absolutely loved it! There were lots of smiles, lots of excitement, lots of racing around and a really positive experience was had by all! So when the opportunity came up to purchase the existing South East London business in 2020, I grabbed it with both hands! I’d experienced first-hand the impact the classes could have for both grown up and child. Our whole team are really passionate about inspiring children to love sport and to promote a healthy and active lifestyle for local children. Alongside community classes, we also offer Nursery, Early Years and KS1 sessions including PE and after school sport provision, host birthday parties and run holiday clubs.
