About Minicars Hobby Distribution
Minicars was founded by Per Gustafsson in 1968 in Ludvika. The business moved 1971 to Uppsala where it was located until 2009 when the need for new and larger premises became too big. The solution was to build our own property in Enköping, strategically located next to the E18 highway between Stockholm and Oslo. Minicars focus was initially slotracing and we were already in the 60's proud importers of famous brands such as Parma and Associated Electrics. In the mid-70's their manufacturing slid more and more towards RC products, which also became an natural progression for us. Minicars are since the beginning of the 80's a pure wholesale distributor who over the years have added more and more brands under our feets. A few milestones are eg Traxxas which we started importing in 1989, Futaba who we became agents for in 1990 and in 2020 we also became a O.S.Engine distributor. Today we are one of Europe's largest distributors with many different brands, and more than 30.000 products in stock. Minicars currently has 19 employees and supplies goods to retailers in more than 25 countries, with the Nordic countries as the main market.
