About Mining Company Katanga (MCK Sarl)

Established in Lubumbashi, in the Katanga province of the Democratic Republic of Congo since 1997, our main activities consist in executing mining, earthworks and concrete works contracts for plant foundations. Over the past 14 years, we have excavated more than 150,000,000 cubic meters of ore / waste rock and have employed and trained more than 2,000 national employees, which is why MCK is proudly Congolese. Surviving the economic crisis of 2008/2009, emerging as a stronger company and aware of the stakes and risks related to the safety of agents in the mining sector, MCK is committed to respecting and enforcing the rules related to social distance in this period of coronavirus but also those related to safety at work. MCK is in the process of expanding its mining footprint across Africa, securing new long-term projects in Zambia and Guinea whilst tendering in several other African countries. Our ability to work anywhere, in any conditions, achieve short mobilisation period whilst remaining extremely competitive in the tendering process has allowed us to become the front runner in many of tender processes we enter.
