Hello, I am Myrna Velasquez, President & CEO of Ministry for New Immigrants (MNI). Welcome to my Non-profit & Ministry. MNI is a nonprofit that is organized and operated exclusively for charitable & religious purposes in accordance with §501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; thus, all donations made to MNI are tax deductible. MNI is dedicated to helping immigrants, not only to succeed in their immigration process, but also to become informed about the benefits that they are entitled to receive in the United States. Our aim is for the percentage of educated immigrants to rise in the United States. Young immigrants can be empowered by educating themselves and becoming part of the great promise that the United States offers. The immigrant community is a hardworking, well-settled group, but it is in great need of educating itself, even in the most basic ways. The abilities of immigrants must improve in order for them to have a more promising future for the generations to come. MNI concentrates in supporting immigrants with low cost legal services & teaches immigrants to prevent victimization of immigration fraud. We care for the community by providing food donations to anyone. Through GOD's grace, MNI empowers immigrants to achieve a brighter future in the United States.
