About Minnesota Asphalt Pavement Association
Minnesota Asphalt Pavement Association (MAPA) was first Incorporated in 1942. MAPA represents about 96 percent of Minnesota’s asphalt industry – approximately 23 asphalt producers along with 9 asphalt non-producers and 100+ associate members who supply materials to the asphalt pavement industry. The association represents members’ interests regarding items involving transportation, the environment, and legislation. MAPA members are committed to the state and its overall quality of life. The Industry is comprised of companies ranging from small driveway – paving operations to diverse larger construction companies that produce and/or place asphalt pavement on roads, airports, parking lots, recreational facilities, etc. It is MAPA’s mission to serve our members by advancing the technology of asphalt pavement to their customers. We strive to accomplish this mission with our staff of Professional Engineers by providing technical assistance, training, and consultation.
