To work directly with farmers, manufacturers, retailers, and the public to help educate and establish best management practices for the hemp industry. The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, including the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. The primary mission of the Manufacturers Association is to further the science-based research and education for those in the hemp industry, legislators, regulatory agencies as well as public consumers of hemp products. The vision of the Minnesota Hemp Farmers & Manufacturers Association is to see the multifaceted industrial and health uses of hemp enrich our communities and environment through sustainable practices.
