About Minnesota House - Transitional Living and Wellness Centre
Minnesota House Treatment Centre offers tailored treatments. We transform people’s lives helping them end addiction. Holistic Treatment Program – Individual Therapy Sessions – Relapse Intervention – Dual Diagnosis Mental Health Treatment – Addiction Recovery – Co-Dependency & Behaviour Modification MINNESOTA HOUSE TREATMENT CENTRE: TREATMENT THAT IS TAILORED FOR THE INDIVIDUAL – NESTLED AT THE FOOT OF THE MOUNTAINS IN GEORGE, GARDEN ROUTE & FOUNDED IN 2001 There’s no question that our addiction treatment system helps more people because it moves away from one-size-fits-all approach to recovery, recognizing that there are many different paths to recovery. Minnesota House Treatment Centre has a focused individual approach to treatment, based on international principles that have been proven to increase success rates. Every patient is different. We base our treatment plans on the patient’s drug of choice, the characteristics of our patients and their associated medical, psychological, social, and vocational problems. We look at age, gender, ethnicity and culture. Matching treatment settings, interventions, and services to an individual’s particular problems and needs is critical to their ultimate success in returning to productive functioning families, workplace and society. Nobody can fall through the cracks at Minnesota House. We move past treatment compliance to treatment engagement. BECAUSE EVERYONE’S STORY IS UNIQUE Our primary belief is that no single treatment is appropriate for everyone. We believe that it is harmful to our patients if they are led to believe that if they don’t connect with the established approach and therefore don’t do well in treatment, it’s because of some personal failing. We have discovered that the risk of relapse is increased where cookie cutter programs don’t work. Recovering people may come to believe that treatment is a waste of time and simply not for them.
