Mimi Phillips is the owner and designer of Minnie Lane. Born and raised in North Carolina, she began her professional career in New York City where she honed her eye for design as a stylist and set designer for Ralph Lauren. After 6 years in NYC, her move to Nashville prompted her to start her own contemporary jewelry line, Minnie Lane. Her work is inspired by the beauty and power of the female form and influenced by her love of travel. Using natural gemstones and both fine and contemporary metals, each piece is made by hand.
