About Minot Public School Foundation

The mission of the Minot Public School Foundation is to preserve, promote, and enhance the quality of education of the Minot Public School District. This organization, comprised of a fifteen-member volunteer board, is actively involved in raising additional funds to enhance the present outstanding academic programs. Student scholarships and classroom enrichment grants is a large focus for the upcoming year. For our MHS Alumni, MPSF helps with class reunions each year, with mailings, address updates, reunion examples, and information. Education is and has always been a top priority of our society and for good reason. Without a well-rounded and challenging education, our children will be hard pressed to lead our nation into the future and compete for jobs in the global marketplace. Funding for education in North Dakota currently comes from property taxes, state and federal resources. While these funds are usually adequate for meeting most of the District's basic needs, there is typically little money, if any, available to allow for innovative or cutting edge educational programs and projects - the kind of programs and projects that challenge teachers to take their students to the next level of learning and encourage students to push themselves to higher academic achievements. The Minot Public School Foundation can and will bridge that gap. The Foundation works to secure a variety of resources to enrich and enhance the quality of education provided by the Minot Public Schools. Our educational grants and programs enrich children's lives, helping them to grow, learn, and enter the world more confident and better prepared to compete in the 21st century. No matter how the Foundation evolves in the years to come, we will always strive to uphold the highest standards of good stewardship and accountability. We intend to not only be a model public school foundation but one of the most efficient and effective non-profit organizations anywhere. Your support
