About Minstead Trust

At Minstead Trust, we’re dedicated to removing barriers for people with learning disabilities. We aim to unlock opportunities that enrich lives, encourage independence, and foster well-being. We do this in part through support services that help people to live in their own homes and to learn new skills in day opportunities. We also run Empowering Employment, which supports people to learn work skills and gain work experience that can lead to paid work. Work experience opportunities are available across our social enterprises, which include Furzey Gardens, Hanger Farm, Lily & Lime, Real Jam & Chutney Company and Minstead Lodge conference and events venue. We support more than 320 people along the south coast of England, from Poole to Portsmouth. Each part of Minstead Trust works towards our Vision and Mission and our values are core to who we are. Our Vision: A society where people with learning disabilities enjoy fulfilling lives of their own choosing. Our Mission: We support people with learning disabilities to fully develop their individual potential by providing opportunities, enhancing life skills, ensuring informed choice, and influencing society.
