After planning two breathtaking weddings for her daughters, Jan Tucker realized something in the wedding industry was missing. Her best friend of 20 years, Lynn Whisenant, had been with her each step of the way. The common bond these two women shared was strengthened during a seemingly unending quest to turn their dreams into the reality of Mint Springs Farm. Even with Lynn’s expertise as an interior decorator and florist along with Jan’s organizational and business savvy, there seemed to be too many roadblocks in creating the ultimate dream wedding with ease. Both ladies loved the setting of outdoor weddings, which revealed all the splendor of the Tennessee countryside. A search for property ensued. Just when they thought their dreams were beyond reach, Jan and Lynn stumbled upon Mint Springs Farm. Owned by the Osburn family for nearly a hundred years, Mint Springs Farm is a glorious piece of property in south Nolensville. The name Mint Springs Farm is attributed to a natural spring that runs through the land, with fresh mint growing on the banks. Some of the family members were looking to sell just a portion of the property. They were concerned that a developer would want to build a residential subdivision and forever change the landscape of Mint Springs Farm and its gorgeous countryside. When Jan and Lynn walked onto the property, they knew it was sent from above. And when the Osburns heard their vision for Mint Springs Farm, they decided Jan and Lynn were the perfect buyers.
