About MIRR Mentors
MIRR Mentors is a newly founded, student-led organization dedicated to youth empowerment, connecting Howard University students with young learners from marginalized communities. Many of these young learners face mental barriers such as self-doubt, stereotype threat, imposter syndrome, and cultural dissonance, which can prevent them from seeing their own worth and make academic success feel unachievable. Through Mentorship, Inspiration, Representation, and Resilience, we help students overcome barriers and unlock their potential. By offering interactive workshops and consistent support, we create a supportive environment where young learners can build resilience, boost their confidence, and prioritize their mental well-being!
