The beginnings of Mirror Media Group can be traced back to the start of Mirror Books in 1991 in Canada. Currently, the operating bases are located in the United States, Hong Kong, & Taiwan. In the last two decades, Mirror Books has held a high reputation among the Chinese press and publishing industries, both in China and overseas, and has been most well known for its books focusing on Chinese current events and politics. Its publications, such as “Yellow Peril,” “The Primary Capital Accumulation in Contemporary China,” “The Truth of June 4th in China,” and “Zhou Enlai's Later Years,” have been featured and/or reviewed positively by The New York Times Sunday Book Review, The New York Times, Financial Times (UK), Wall Street Journal, Times Magazine, on CBS’ 60 Minutes, among many Chinese-language media. The company founder, now president and CEO, Mr. Ho Pin is an influential Chinese political strategy expert.
