About Misa Hylton Fashion Academy
The Misa Hylton Fashion Academy has been educating students since 2012. Throughout her 30 year career, Misa Hylton has groomed a multitude of stylists and creatives many of whom are responsible for crafting the images of some of today’s most memorable stars. Through this experience, Misa discovered she has a passion for sharing her expertise, educating aspiring creatives, providing the practical skills needed for success, and the knowledge and frame of reference necessary to achieve excellence. Because of this, in 2012, she founded the Misa Hylton Fashion Academy (MHFA). MHFA is an institution which supports creativity and free thinking and provides solid fashion education. The mission is to groom students interested in pursuing a career in fashion. The MHFA currently offers 6 programs including Fashion Styling, Streetwear, Fashion Technology, SOLEcial Studies, Personal Shopping, and an Intern to Assistant Masterclass. THE MISSION MHFA exists to refresh, educate, transform, and elevate the culture of fashion. We disrupt the fashion industry status quo by equipping creatives with the educational instruction, mentorship, hand-on experiences, and practical real world acumen necessary to build life changing careers and thrive in the world of fashion. THE VISION We envision a new movement in fashion, where multi-cultural identities and innovation of fashion creatives are globally recognized, respected, & amplified as the leading voices and change-makers.
