Working out of her studio in Brighton, she draws on a broad spectrum of inspiration, from old master paintings and japanese Ukiyo-e to abstract realism and retro-futurism. Exploring themes of female empowerment, transformation, defiance, and strength in the face of adversity. Her dreamlike luminous cloudscapes and surreal botanicals, are a metaphor for human emotion. Transporting the viewer to worlds of wonder and self-discovery. Using a vivid colour palette and expressive mark-making in spray paint and oil paint, her work is energetic and captures the raw process of creativity. She has painted internationally from the streets from Melbourne to the walls of Upfest and many places in between. You can also find her work in galleries, and at some of the UK’s leading Art Fairs. Along with creating original paintings for sale and commission and high-end limited edition Giclee Prints, Mishfit Art offers bespoke interior mural design services. She also partners with Interior Designers, Film & Event Producers to fulfill a range of creative briefs.
