About Miss California Volunteer Organization

Our goal is to create opportunities for our participants to gain access to higher education, experience a broader world knowledge, and become active participants in their community while creating enriching personal experiences. Miss California Volunteer comprises volunteers; there are no salaried employees at either the local or state levels of competition. The participants are given a platform to express their opinions, talents, character and intelligence and to display the importance of service before self. Our young women represent all that is good in the State of California. They come from every walk of life, each empowered by our Five Points Program: S.E.R.V.E. Symbolism of the Crown: Each of the five crown points represents our organization's mission principle. Together, the first letters of those five principles spell S.E.R.V.E- Scholarship, Education, Responsibility, Volunteerism, Empowerment. Each titleholder in the Miss California Volunteer Organization selects a community service initiative she desires to advocate for at the local, state, and national levels.
