About Mission Division of Family Practice
The Mission Division of Family Practice (MDFP) is a not-for-profit society established by and for family physicians practising in the District of Mission. We work collaboratively to achieve our member goals of improving primary care for patients and supporting family physicians in their levels of well-being, professional development, and professional satisfaction. The Division also gives local physicians an opportunity to work with the Health Authority, the GPSC, and the Ministry of Health to identify health care needs in the local community and develop solutions to meet those needs. Our goals are: • enhanced access to primary care for patients – resulting in better health outcomes • solutions and programs developed for specific health care issues, unique to our community • greater personal and professional support for physicians • a more efficient and sustainable health care system.
