About Mission Pawssible

"Mission Pawssible" is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping stray animals in crisis situations, with a focus on Eastern Europe and North Africa. In these regions, the overwhelming stray animal populations face dire conditions, with insufficient shelters and active organizations to provide relief. Many animals endure lives of misery on the streets, and finding responsible adoptions is a significant challenge. In Tunisia, for instance, stray dogs are often victims of inhumane culling campaigns by municipal authorities. "Mission Pawssible" started in Tunisia 14 years ago as a private initiative and has grown steadily into a very successful project, with more than 1,500 successful rescues and adoptions over the past years across Europe and the USA. Our projects include: rescues, adoptions, spay and neuter campaigns, education about responsible pet ownership & respect for animals. Mission Pawssible is a US registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Why “Mission Pawssible”? A significant part of our rescues are special needs animals, with a handicap or illness, often considered “unadoptable”. We provide them with the care they need and we find them loving homes. Our mission is to give hope to the hopeless and make the impossible "pawssible."
