About Mitchell Metal Products
Mitchell Metal Products was founded in 1954 by Gordon and Arlette Mitchell. With a single-punch press Gordon struck out on his own as a producer of hardware for manufacturing projects. Over time, additional press capacity and metal forming capabilities were added to address the need for high-quality metal products in the Central Wisconsin region. In 2008 a major transition took place when Timothy Zimmerman led a local investment group to purchase the organization, from the Mitchell Family. As of 2020, Zimmerman has sole controlling interest in the organization, assisted by an extraordinary management team with many decades of experience in the metal stamping and forming industry. The management team is dedicated to building on the foundation of innovative solutions in metal manufacturing that has brought the company deep respect and trust among its customers. Our group is guided by its shared vision to be recognized as the supplier of choice to customers, employer of choice to its associates and company of choice within the community.
