About Mitho Restaurant

Mitho Restaurant is one of the good old, cozy family restaurants in Kathmandu. Mitho specializes in Nepalese and Indian, but in tasty International dishes (world food) as well, combined with good quality coffees, smoothies, wine & beers... Mitho started in 2005 under a different name, but after few years, we changed the concept into Mitho; the Nepali word for delicious. For more than 10 years, we have been known for our affordable, tasty food and our friendly and homely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the earthquake in 2015 disrupted our dreams. Our building collapsed. We, the staff and our customers had been very lucky to survive such tragedy. Then a very difficult time started. In 2017, with the help of friends and family, we found the opportunity, the motivation and inspiration to rebuild and reopen a new Mitho Restaurant. A new building and a new time. So Mitho is back with more love and creativity. Although our history had been with high and lows, we remain to be joyful by loving our work: putting smiles on faces of our customers. We love to see those smile again. We are privileged to cook and serve our guests from here and from all over the world. You have taught us many things, about different countries, culture, religion and most importantly, the love for world food! You helped us to become what we are today. We are grateful to be back and continue our dreams and to continue serving our customers.
