Forty-five years after the Mitsubishi Motors brand officially entered the European market at the 1974 London Motor Show, today’s Mitsubishi Motors Europe is a successful, vibrant, pro-active, young and multicultural 250+ staff strong organization, handling 33 very different markets. The embodiment of Mitsubishi Motors’ Quality Brand essence – blending “Adventurous” SUVs with “Progressive” electrified vehicles - the MME team is fully engaged to explore the next market frontiers in Europe. This is especially true in the key area of electro-mobility where Outlander PHEV has been the best-selling plug-in hybrid vehicle in the region for four years – and is today’s MME’ best seller. During CY2018, MME recorded a double digit growth in most markets with total sales of 165,259 sales (+ 19%). Mitsubishi Motors was also awarded "Brand of the Year:"in Germany that same year while the first Mitsubishi car of the new generation - the sharp Eclipse Cross SUV Coupe - was launched. That came ahead of further new model launches (New Gen. ASX and New Gen. L200 this year) and of fascinating (some wrote "revolutionary"...) electro-mobility projects such as the pioneering Dendo Drive House unveiled at the Geneva Show and due to be retailed soon...
