About MJ Aircraft

MJ Aircraft Inc. has been in operation since 1967. Mary "Joyce" Newman's hobby of aircraft upholstery morphed into a business called Custom Aircraft Interiors by MJ. In 1979 her son, the late Tom Newman started a separate aircraft cabinet company. Mother and Son combined efforts and incorporated as MJ Aircraft Inc. in 1985 which has developed into a multi-service one stop interior installation facility. We encourage our clients to participate in the designing phase, from choosing leathers and fabrics to redesigning cabinets and seat styles. If you prefer, our designers will create a layout for your approval. Our skilled craftsmen and women will work diligently to achieve the desired look of your refurbished interior as quickly as possible. If you desire a new look for your interior but are uncertain of where to begin, our in-house designers can provide you with a variety of designing plans for the woodwork in the aircraft. Simply changing the color of the laminate or style of veneer can dramatically change the atmosphere. If you are looking for something a little more exotic, a wide variety of wood veneers are available with high gloss finishes for cabinets and tables, with a variety of plating options available for interior trim items as well. We install LED lighting, Sound Deadening and Fire Blocking. We are a Certified Repair Station (part 145) with a drug testing program and can service part 135 operated Aircraft.
