At Milton Keynes Community Energy, we are dedicated to empowering our local community by promoting clean, affordable energy solutions that benefit everyone. We've been helping Milton Keynes residents, businesses, and organisations reduce carbon emissions and lower energy bills by generating renewable energy and supporting energy-saving initiatives across the city, (formerly as Wolverton Community Energy,) since 2015. Our work spans the entire Milton Keynes area, with projects that include community-owned renewable energy generation and practical programmes to reduce energy consumption whilst cutting energy costs and carbon emissions. We are proud to be a not-for-profit cooperative, reinvesting our profits back into the community to create a greener, more sustainable future for Milton Keynes. One key community reinvestment initiative is Home Energy MK, a programme designed to provide independent expert advice and trusted support to Milton Keynes homeowners looking to improve their homes' energy efficiency. Through Home Energy MK, we provide information, tools, and guidance covering the core retrofit areas and available support and grants. We also partner with experts to offer heat loss assessments, whole-house retrofit plans, and to deliver practical events throughout the year such as retrofit surgeries and our annual "Housewarming MK" workshop series.
