About Mobility Blueprint

In 2016, Mobility Blueprint developed a web-based tool to address the escalating problem of high student mobility rates within school districts both large and small. By initially partnering with Austin ISD, a large school district with a high student mobility rate, Mobility Blueprint was able to implement the Mobility Map, an adaptive system designed to decrease mobility with the goal of eventually increasing student achievement as well as district revenue by providing real-time information about housing within the district’s boundary. Mobility Blueprint continues to implement new, innovative tools by not only expanding the original Mobility Map to include health services and transportation routes, but by also creating new platforms that serve other areas of need within the district.
