Established in 2012, Mocha Chai Laboratories (MCL) is a post-production house fully equipped with a state-of-the-art Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos facility. We achieve premium quality tailored to each filmmaker’s vision from ideation to story development right through to post production and delivery. As a one-stop digital film lab, our award-winning team works closely with our clients to ensure that the workflow for every story’s journey is smooth and conforms to the highest standards for all screens from mobile, TV to cinema. Being the first to bring Digital Cinema Packages (DCP)-related services to the region, our capabilities include delivering from 2K, 4K, stereoscopic 3D to HDR. We have in our facility, a certified Dolby Atmos dubbing theatre, a one-of-its kind in Southeast Asia, as well as Dolby Vision HDR monitoring (first in Singapore), and a DCI-compliant cinema projector. Notable projects include The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, My New Sassy Girl, Sicario, Pop Aye, HBO’s Folklore, 7 Letters to name but a few. Our clients include CJ ENM HK, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, MediaCorp, Zhao Wei Films, MM2 Entertainment, Clover Films, Anticipate Pictures, and more. We have since expanded our services to include Quality Checks, Film Digitising and Scanning. Most recently, we are the official encoding house and aggregator for Apple TV.
