Mode Models is one of Canada's largest modeling agencies, with the most models placed internationally than any other Canadian agency. The company was founded by President CEO Kelly Streit in 1987 in Red Deer, AB. Since then, Mode Models has local and international offices in both Edmonton and Calgary. Mode Models has had winners in both Ford and Elite’s major modeling contests. Tricia Helfer “Supermodel of the World”, (April Kim 1994, Simone Liebermann 1997, Katie Naita 1999, and Emily Patry, all winners of Elite’s “Look of the Year”). It is very unusual for a small agency at the time to have winners in each contest. Some of the other international models that Mode Models manages include Heather Marks, Julia Dunstall, Paul Greene, Arlynd and Jenny Fletcher and Siobhan Snyder. More recently Mode Models has also Taylor Fuchs, Chad White, Terron Wood, and Meghan Collison.Collectively, Kelly’s models have done many magazine covers such as Victoria Secret, Cosmo, Elle and Vogue covers. Also prestigious advertising campaigns, such as Chanel, Guess, Gianni Versace, three Gap models, three Tommy Hilfiger models, Ralph Lauren, Krizia, Yves St. Laurent, Banana Republic, Erno Lazlo cosmetics, Manager and Buffalo Jeans, Levis, and Armani. Mode Models Edmonton office does a lot of work with Edmonton Fashion Week, Parlour Magazine, Avenue Magazine, and we play a large part in Fashion with Compassion.
