Celebrating 50 Years of Convention Successes. The Modeling Association of America International, Inc., known as M.A.A.I., is a global not-for-profit membership organization established in 1960. M.A.A.I. is the founder of the concept of the modeling and talent convention. The primary goal of the Organization is to advance professionalism by producing a convention which is a dynamic and ethical forum for members to bring their students, graduates, models and talent to be seen individually, interviewed by experts and have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a competitive format. These competitions are career enhancing as they are monitored by industry professional agents, scouts, managers, producers and casting directors. M.AA.I. is governed by an Executive Board of Directors elected by the membership and an Advisory Council to guide the Board and Association activities. The Board, Advisory Council and others of the membership lend their time, expertise and devotion to the support of M.A.A.I. on a volunteer basis. MAAI is a private membership organization governed by New York law. MAAI reserves the right to exercise its discretion in extending a limited number of invitations to business and or social invitees of its choice to certain business, social, competitive or other sponsored events. Admission of any uninvited person or entity may be refused. Annual Convention = April 21-25, 2011 at the Deauville Beach Resort, Miami Beach.
