As the Komatsu dealer in the Pacific Northwest, we sell, rent and service high-quality heavy equipment and provide exceptional customer service and product support to our customers in the construction, mining, aggregate, and forestry industries. Modern Machinery is committed to our core values and creating a safe working environment for all our employees. Modern Machinery began in 1944 with a single location in Spokane, Washington. Today Modern operates 11 branch offices in Missoula, Billings and Columbia Falls, Montana; Boise, Jerome, and Pocatello, Idaho; Kent, Spokane, and Rochester, Washington; Portland and Eugene Oregon. We differentiate ourselves by bringing passion, commitment and an unrelenting desire to provide the best product support and customer service possible. A diverse product line gives Modern the capability to satisfy the equipment needs of our customers. Modern represents product lines from Komatsu, Komatsu Forest, Dynapac, JCI, Kolberg-Pioneer, Epiroc, Sennebogan, Madill and Spomac, and other complementary product lines. Modern Machinery is proudly affiliated with the Washington Companies; a diverse group of individual privately held companies with headquarters throughout the United States and western Canada.
