MODOM is associated to 3 concepts: lifestyle, space and revolution. Indeed, our company promotes a change in our lifestyles, a completely new way to perceive architecture and plan the space, lastly a revolution in construction market. Our team has developed an innovative building system, that can be used to realize any kind of building on a mass scale. With our system the house becomes a product, packed and shipped with its user manual, quality certifications, warranty and all the best practice to preserve it. The vision of no more fixed capital can be achieved thanks to dry building systems, that are the totality of mortar-less and glue-less building systems. The intuition of our team was to join the load-bearing structure to the insulated panel, in order to produce a unique element, that is ready to be handled at the construction site. Each panel combines a wooden frame all over the perimeter, a bracing board and multiple layer of insu-lating materials, depending on the insulation performance required. The real innovation is modularity: the particular geometry of the perimeter allows the same panel to be used as floor, wall and roof. Panels dimensions and shapes may vary, in order to optimize the internal space, while mechanical fasteners (i.e. screws and bolts), that are reversible, allow to alter the panels layout, even once the construction is finished. Indeed, panels can be removed from or added to an existing building and it does not matter if that building was realized with the MODOM building system or not. Our building system allows to reduce time spent on the construction site and the exposure to unexpected and unwanted events (i.e. rain), while increases the labour productivity. Our purpose is to offer the best quality to an affordable price.
