The Möve brand has a long, eventful history. From 1897 to 1947, the popular Möve bicycles were manufactured and distributed by Walter & Co. GmbH. After the separation of Germany into east and west, Möve bicycles were produced by VEB Möve-Werk Mühlhausen in Mühlhausen, Thuringia from 1948 to 1961. The cornerstone for today’s thinking was laid back in 1930: “Flying through the land with Möve” This advertising slogan has quasi become a guiding principle for us. Founders Tobias Spröte and Gordon Winter got together on 2 March 2011 to revive the name of the Möve works that had stood idle since 1961. And of course to continue writing the story of Germany’s second-oldest bicycle brand. From the perspective of engineers and product designers who want to accomplish great things. cyfly is the next chapter. The mechanical crank drive system for bicycles was invented around 150 years ago and has hardly been improved since. We took the drive system further and developed the cyfly Easy Cycling Technology.
