Designed and crafted in Chicago by an artist, an architect, and their robots, Justin Walker and Annie Mohaupt thoughtfully craft footwear and accessories by combining traditional artisanal techniques with emerging technologies. We proudly produce our designs in the USA from sustainably sourced materials. Established in 2005 by architect Annie Mohaupt, Mohop specializes in customizable shoes. Mohop is the first company to digitally fabricate mass-customizable footwear on demand - essentially, we use robots to make shoes. We use emerging digital scanning and 3D manufacturing processes to create custom-fit shoes that express your personal style. Each pair of Mohop shoes is made from scratch in our Chicago workshop. Mohop's are available online at Mohop.com and have been featured on a huge variety of national and international media including the Discovery Channel, Science Channel, Vogue.com, Chicago Tribune, Lucky Magazine, The Martha Stewart Show, US Weekly, MTV, Huff Post, ARTE, Refinery29, Vogue, Inc. Magazine, Entrpreneur.com and INSP Network. Taking our skills as digital manufacturers we have recently expanded to offer handbags, wallets and even pet accessories. Designed and engineered in-house, each accessory both human and pet, is laser printed and hand-riveted using our proprietary blend of eco-friendly, sustainably sourced materials. From our Totes to our crossbody down to the wristlets and dog collars each item is structured and thoughtfully crafted using heavy duty hardware and high-end vegan materials. As a socially-conscious company, Mohop ensures that all of our collections are produced with vegan, sustainably-sourced, recycled, and/or fair-trade materials. We are passionate about comfortable shoes that both fit your style and fit your foot, women in STEM, and conscientious relationships with people, animals and the environment.
