About Mojo Concerts
Mojo Concerts is de grootste en bekendste concertorganisator van Nederland. Van de Red Hot Chili Peppers en Madonna tot U2 en Robbie Williams. Van het 'North Sea Jazz Festival' tot 'A Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise'. Van de Amsterdam Arena tot 013 in Tilburg. Iedereen heeft dankzij Mojo wel eens een onvergetelijke avond gehad. Mojo organiseert ieder jaar tussen de 120 en 150 concerten waar ruim 1,2 miljoen bezoekers op af komen. Mojo begon in 1970 met Kralingen, het eerste grote popfestival in Nederland. Dit Europese 'Woodstock' trok in drie dagen 130.000 bezoekers. Ook daarna was Mojo verantwoordelijk voor verschillende mijlpalen in de Nederlandse (pop)geschiedenis; zo was Bob Dylan in de Kuip in 1978 bijvoorbeeld het eerste Nederlandse stadionconcert. Vanaf 1993 organiseert Mojo jaarlijks het Lowlandsfestival, een 'campingflight' met een unieke mix van rock, dance, theater, film en entertainment. Al 40 jaar verzorgt Mojo de meest uiteenlopende concerten en een breed scala aan festivals zoals 5 Days Off, Two Sevens Splash en Fields of Rock. Mojo volgt nieuwe ontwikkelingen op de voet en blijft innovatief, zowel in programmering als bij de ontwikkeling van publieksvoorzieningen. Mojo Concerts is tevens verantwoordelijk voor het boeken van artiesten in het Nederlandse clubcircuit, bijvoorbeeld in zalen als Paradiso, de Melkweg, Tivoli, 013, de Effenaar, Watt en het Paard. Mojo Concerts is onderdeel van Live Nation, een Amerikaans concern dat zich richt op live entertainment. Live Nation organiseert op jaarbasis 33.000 events en produceert diverse tournees van wereldsterren als Madonna, The Rolling Stones en Coldplay.
