About Molecular Analysis Facility at the University of Washington
The Molecular Analysis Facility (MAF) is a fully staffed instrumentation facility located in the Molecular Engineering and Sciences building at the University of Washington. The facility is open to researchers from the University of Washington, other universities, and industry. The MAF offers microscopy, spectroscopy and surface science tools for the characterization and development of novel materials, advanced biomedical devices, drug delivery systems, solar cells, photonic sensors, thin films and more. Users can be trained to independently perform experiments, or an experienced staff member can perform experiments for them. MAF staff scientists have expertise in biology, chemistry, materials science, surface science, and nano-materials. We strongly recommend existing and prospective users consult with our staff to find the best tool/technique to answer their scientific question. The MAF is part of the National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure network, a National Science Foundation-funded effort to coordinate nanoscale research and development activities across the United States. https://www.moles.washington.edu/facilities/molecular-analysis-facility/
