About Mom Anoh

Mom Anoh is an African brand with the goal of providing healthy, gluten-free, and delicious foods and snacks made from plantains (for now). With Plantain being a GLUTEN-FREE addition to the market, we strive to close this gap by making more gluten-free food and snack options available to everyone and especially those who need it more. Our research found out that 89% of plantains in Germany come from South America. Which displays an opportunity for plantains from Africa. This led us to the idea of starting a plantain farm to increase the diverse sources of plantains within Germany. Current research on the by-products of plantain such as manufacturing the trees into fibre for clothing and pad production, has been an even further boost into what this journey could look like. Our next stop is Ghana in Dec 2023 to begin the process of our plantain farms. Currently a work in progress!
