About Momentum Center

Momentum Center is an abstinence based program tailored to the client’s level of individual need. Momentum Center offers 24 hour / 7 day a week service, structure and support while promoting open communication, honesty, integrity, serenity and perseverance. Clients are expected to maintain sobriety, follow all rules, expectations and policies of Momentum Center. Clients actively participate in at least 5-8 hours of scheduled programming each week through in-house groups, meetings & individual counseling sessions, as well as building strong community support through AA/NA meetings. Morning & evening groups are available to accommodate the clients varying employment schedules. The content of the therapy is directed towards the importance of issues including relapse prevention, coping skills, anger management education, independent livings skills and educational groups. Momentum Center employs licensed alcohol and drug counselors, medical consultants and CD paras to help clients make a successful transition to a self sufficient independent living environment. Counselors will assist clients in the completion of specific individual treatment plan goals, discharge planning, including abstinence and education of substance use, meeting educational and employment goals, and the building of a supportive recovery environment. Momentum Center assists clients in job seeking, resume building and other professional skills to secure employment and sober housing. Momentum Center administers random UA and breathalyzer tests ensuring current clients are maintaining sobriety.
