About Monash Entrepreneur Club

Founded in 2011, Monash Entrepreneur Club (MEC) aspires to enhance entrepreneurship & networking skills among members. In another way, MEC also stands for "Motivate, Empower, Connect", which are the 3 core values that we embrace and incorporate in our endeavors and attempts. Motivate: MEC provides members with a motive and stimulates their enthusiasm for doing something big in their life. Empower: MEC believes in equal opportunity for everyone regardless of the individual's religion, country or gender by offering fair delegation and authority to anyone who is keen to be a part of the team. Empowerment has made us who we are and will continue to lead us to achieve greater success in the near future. Connect: MEC connects like-minded people together and leverages this network to create something out of the box. Our missions include of: 1. To empower students with fundamentals entrepreneurship values, management skills and network building exposure. 2. To develop leadership skills, communication skills and social skills. 3. To be the best club that Monashians can join while everyone is treated as a family. In 2016, MEC was awarded "2016 Monash Best Non-Sports Club Award" with 1000 likes on our official Facebook page. In 2016, we launched MEC Reclub, our boldest moves yet which aims to create a total revolution in Monash Malaysia. Under our visionary leader's management, we have once again retained "2016 Monash Best Non-Sports Club Award" and getting 1006 New Members to Sign Up during C&S Week which made us the largest university club in Subang Jaya! In 2017, we have a wilder and more vigorous plan to bring MEC to a higher level by forming International Entrepreneurship Network (IEN) with NES aka Entrepreneurship Society of National University Singapore being one of the partners. Besides that, MEC has introduced different categories of partnership such as corporate partner, charity partner and affiliate partner.
