About Monihan Realty, Inc. As one of Ocean City's oldest, original real estate companies, Monihan Realty was founded at 3201 Central Avenue by Robert and Joy Monihan in 1947. Robert and Joy's sons, Michael and Jeffrey entered the family business and over the years assumed management responsibilities in addition to selling, listing, and renting properties. In 1986, Michael and Jeffrey took the firm's helm when Robert retired, and, in 1987, they opened a second office at 717 Battersea Road.
