MonitNG, is a Forum for the Promotion of Civic Awareness and Good Leadership dedicated to fostering transparency, accountability, and active citizenship in society. As a parent organisation, Monitng aims to educate and empower citizens by promoting civic engagement and good governance practices. Through various initiatives and programs, the foundation works to ensure that citizens are informed, involved, and able to influence the decision-making processes that affect their communities. To do this, Monitng developed Monitng, a flagship product and a cutting-edge civic technology platform that serves as a powerful tool for citizen engagement. The platform provides users with real-time information to track the progress of public projects, access a wide range of public data, and participate in civic advocacy efforts. Monitng is designed to make it easier for citizens to hold their government and elected officials accountable by offering transparency into the use of public resources. Each year, lawmakers and public officials initiate numerous interventionist projects in their communities. However, these projects are often plagued by corruption and inefficiency, leading to incomplete or poorly executed initiatives despite substantial budget allocations.
