Monkey Business Institute (MBI) is an award-winning improv company providing shows, corporate training and entertainment, and more. Our troupe consists of professional improvisors, musicians, and speakers. In addition, we have corporate trainers, actors, voice-work artists, writers, and comedians. MBI will work with you to create a private show, training, or other special entertainment to fit your needs whether virtually or in-person (coming back soon!). ENTERTAINMENT From private corporate events to private parties like weddings and birthdays, we deliver fun and engaging performances. We know what makes you laugh! Our improv shows have been delighting audiences for years and our popular murder mysteries are full of fun and … mystery. Other favorites include game shows, special characters, instant poetry, and singing telegrams. CORPORATE TRAINING – PLAYSHOPS Help your team function better, together. Our Playshops (workshop + fun) are experiential training emphasizing active listening, effective communication, creative problem solving, and team building using improv techniques as a framework. MBI has been providing workplace training for over a decade across a variety of industries and professions, and to companies of enterprise-size to small businesses. We’ll work with you to design a Playshop to meet your objectives. While we can’t wait to return to in-person training, our Playshops have been modified for the virtual workforce. Since work-from-home (WFH) is here to stay and remote work is the standard for companies with a national presence, our virtual Playshops will help meet your needs for bonding, morale, and having a well-functioning team regardless of each person's location.
