About Monkey Gruffo Productions

We are an independent film production company founded by two film production graduates from the University for the Creative Arts: Pranati Wadhwa and Samuel James Thomson. Our journey began when we collaborated on our graduation project, "Not too far away from Paradise," which is currently concluding its festival run, Pranati produced the project while Samuel wrote and directed it. Pranati handles all the logistics as the in-house producer, while Samuel, as the creative powerhouse, takes on the role of writer and director. We have plans to start in the realm of shorter-format filmmaking, with the goal of transitioning to feature films within a few years. Additionally, we are keen on exploring opportunities in advertising and music video production.
