About Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity
Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring everyone in our community has a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home. Serving all of Monmouth County, New Jersey, we are proud to be an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, part of a global movement to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Since our founding, we have built 83 homes and improved home safety and accessibility for hundreds of people through our housing programs. Our work goes beyond construction - we advocate for fair and just housing policies, provide access to homeowner training, and connect families to resources that help them achieve long-term stability. Our mission is achieved through donations and the dedication of volunteers who contribute their time and skills on our construction sites, home repair projects, and in our two ReStores located in Asbury Park and Freehold, New Jersey. Proceeds from ReStore sales directly support our affordable housing programs, keeping good-quality furniture, appliances, and home goods out of landfills while funding our mission. Together, we build homes, neighborhoods, and hope.
