Welcome to our beautiful Montessori Eco School! Grown from a heart of sincere love for children and nature, our aim, as Dr Maria Montessori said, "Is not merely to make the child understand, and still less to force him to memorize, but so to touch his imagination as to enthuse him to his inmost core.” At our school we see each individual child for who they are, nurture the whole child and fan into flame their natural curiosity, which, supported by our international, hands on learning curriculum, supports the awakening of their full potential. Having lived through two world wars and having been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize three times, Dr Maria Montessori was focused on the holistic development of the child to create a new man who would build - not destroy, give - not take, and work together with others for the greater good of mankind. Her dream aligns with that of the father of our nation, Nobel Peace Prize winning President Nelson Mandela, who lived to create a free and harmonious society with equal opportunities for all, and believed that education is the most powerful weapon with which you can change the world.
