About Montessori Northwest
Founded in 1979, Montessori Northwest (MNW) inspires new thinking about education and the nature of childhood by providing AMI Montessori teacher training at the Assistants to Infancy (ages 0 - 3), Primary (ages 3 - 6), and Elementary (ages 6 - 12) levels in 3 states. MNW serves as a hub of activity within the Montessori community, offering practical, in-depth adult education, community education and personalized staff development for Montessori professionals. Montessori Northwest is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization is guided by a Board of Directors who come from a variety of backgrounds and professions who care deeply about supporting MNW’s mission. MNW is an affiliate of the Association Montessori Internationale and Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. All of MNW programs are fully accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE).
