Negotiation can be a frightening task, especially when you factor in the barriers that women face. Not to mention, these barriers are exponentially more difficult to overcome for women of color. I got deep into negotiation trainings for women when I was finishing up a research fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School and head of an entire negotiation coaching portfolio. By collaborating with renowned gender experts, I gained invaluable insights into the unique challenges that women face in the workplace and the negotiation strategies that yield the best results. I was receiving so many referrals which led me to start Moon Negotiation. After realizing that traditional negotiation trainings were less effective for the women I was coaching, I developed the ASPIRE framework™ to incorporate the latest research on gender bias in negotiation and create more effective and efficient methods for my clients.
