About Moonin Associates

Moonin Associates is a team of tunneling industry experts with a broad range experience and backgrounds - Owner, Consultant, and Construction Contractor - to support clients in all phases of project development for tunneling and complex projects. We specialize in unique and challenging projects that includes variable and difficult ground conditions, high-pressure tunnels, complex support systems and integration with other major infrastructure elements – with focus on delivering a fully functional facility for the owner! Our History Moonin Associates, established Erika Moonin, P.E., Owner and President, in 2018 based on passion for leading a team to accomplish challenging and complex projects. After completing the Lake Mead Intake No. 3 Tunnel, as the Owner’s Engineering Project Manager, which set the world record for highest pressure tunnel constructed by Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) and with the encouragement of fellow colleagues in the industry, she went out on her own and formed the company. She is the sole owner of the company. Moonin Associates operates on core principles that Erika followed throughout her career which contributed to the many great successes – people first! With the right people, with the right skills and some ingenuity, working together they can accomplish amazing things!
