Faerie Rose Press was started last year, for the sole purpose of publishing in the fantasy genre. In our slogan, where stories are not just for faeries, we mean that fantasy stories are not just about faeries, for they deal with other aspects of the fantasy genre. This is not to say that faeries may not be in our stories, but fantasy is more than just faerie stories. We also want our readers to know that if they enjoy reading about the fair folk then these stories are for them. We also have an imprint called, Elderwood Publications, which is for stories that are not in the fantasy genre. This includes short stories, poetry collections, romance, and the like. Those stories get just as much attention as those that are in the fantasy genre. Our goal is to not only to publish works of fiction but to also encourage other writers to get the confidence that they either need or want in their writing. We are also working towards this with our current project called “Writer’s First Source.” Writers First Source is where writer’s and their writing coming first. Is where writer’s can get help and encouragement with their writing. It can also be a way for them to gain new tools in their writing tool box. Faerie Rose Press wants to inspire others to write the stories that they want to write, and letting them know that they do not have to write to trends. Experience the magic that is writing, and to let their imagination soar. This is where our parent company, Moonspinner3 Books, comes in. Moonspinner3 Books has made it a mission to help writers create, write, grow and inspire. It's also wants to encourage writers to unleash their magic with words, imagination and creativity. This is simply what Moonspinner3 wants to instill within both Faerie Rose Press and Elderwood Publications.
