About Moore Recordings

Known as the Vocal tracking Jedi in New York I have developed many skills and techniques to record great sounding vocals quick and while the inspirations are flowing. Also extremely competent and experienced at recording many difrent types of instruments with high end micrphones placed at exactly the right spot. I work in contemporary styles such as Urban R&B and Hip Hop, Pop, Dance and Electonica. As a player (guitar, bass, drums) I also can find my way around a Rock, Jazz, or Classical project. I do it for the love of music and for that great feeling when a record sounds right after the work has been done. And I take great joy in working with talented people with such gifts for the world and being a part of capturing the inspiration. What I call “catching lighting in a bottle”. And when we have all the best “takes” and things are sounding right, that’s when I can also reach into my bag of “tricks” and get that best mix. I am now offering Mix critiques as an introduction.
