About Moorland Spirit Company Limited

The Moorland Spirit Co was set up at the end of 2014 by founders Walter Riddell, Valentine Warner, Cairbry Hill and Nick Strangeway with a desire to make the finest gin in the world - brought from the wild juniper at Hepple through the pioneering distilling system we call the Triple Technique. In 2018 we have a strong position at the top end of the on and off trade markets in the UK and are building our relationships with distributor partners in the US, Germany, Italy and Denmark. About a third of our volumes are exported. Also in 2018 we are introducing two new products that are built on our dual principals of using the freshest possible source of ingredients with an innovative and technically dependent distilling system. We are proud of the accolades including winning Distillery Innovator of the year from the Spirits business in 2018, a double gold medal and a five plus stars from Simon Difford, one of the most demanding spirits critics in the UK for Hepple Gin.
