About Moran's Wood Components
A UK Wood Manufacturing and Product Development Company. Simply put, we like making things out of wood. Moran’s Wood Components Ltd is a thriving wood manufacturing business building on over 35 years of experience, commitment and energy to deliver high-quality, bespoke wooden products. We specialise in developing and making products for the luxury packaging and premium presentation sector and the restaurant, pub and bar industry. We have a team of over 50 skilled wood machinists, spray finishers and engravers employed in our factory. The factory covers 35,000 sq ft and has a large and flexible capacity for high volume and small batch production. As our family business has grown and diversified over the years we have evolved specific capabilities in new product design and development. All our design work is informed by an in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and a thorough knowledge of the strengths, versatility and diverse aesthetics of our core material – wood. We work directly with end-users and design agencies on projects from the initial stages of NPD through to prototyping and production. We continually seek novel wood manufacturing solutions and design innovations using secondary materials to enhance the aesthetics and function of each product. Our productive mix of expertise and in-house manufacturing processes aids us in thinking creatively about how best to make efficiencies to meet customers’ budgets wherever possible. Our customers can be assured that we have direct control and oversight of the entire manufacturing and dispatch process. Some of our recent clients include William Grant & Sons, Manchester United, Airwair (Dr Martens), Pret A Manger, Sprit Pub Group, and Tragus (Café Rouge). All our wood comes from sustainable sources and we are PEFC & FSC accredited. Moran’s is run according to strong ethical values that take our environmental and social responsibilities seriously.
