Morcom Construction Ltd are a specialist groundwork and Civil Engineering contractor based in mid Cornwall, which was formed in 1995 and grown steadily to become a medium sized company within the construction industry. We have built up a reputation for quality, integrity, reliability and strong project management capabilities to deliver schemes to client expectations. Morcom Construction employs approximately 100 operatives with an extensive range of owned plant. We have modern excavators from a 1t micro digger to 21t excavators along with a variety of attachments, and a fleet of dumpers up to 30t, dozers, rollers, piling rigs and drill masts. This is further supplemented with the various associated small tools and non operated plant. All construction activities are supported by an integrated Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management System (QUENSH), in accordance with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007. We are also compliant with the Construction Heath and Safety Accreditation Scheme (CHAS), Morcom Construction has undertaken a variety of construction projects in both the private and commercial sectors for various companies including Cormac, Midas Construction, Brady Construction, Mi-Space, Interserve, Acorn Blue, Gilbert & Goode and Cornwall Homes as well as others. Whether it be bulk excavations at the beginning of a project or stone work to finish a building, the highest quality levels are maintained throughout the project. We specialise in groundworks and Civil Engineering & construction including all site preparation, piling & ground beams, geotechnical works and substructure / enabling works. Morcom Construction is always looking for new projects to construct in conjunction with the client, from a private single residential build to a commercial scheme.
